H.O.M.E.

Written by Hoo Ru Yi
Edited by Eunice Tan and Drew Fong
H is for harmonious,
Despite all the squabbles and imperfection.
There is still harmony through which we learn.
O is for original.
There is no one else like you or me.
This makes us unique.
M is for mess
Littering the floor somehow, somewhere–
By the TV, under the table, on the stair.
E is for encouragement.
No other words can comfort
Like the ones of our own blood.
